The guest house was established in 1992. It is situated on a quiet stream in downtown Železná Ruda, off the main road. That makes it the perfect spot for discovering the gorgeous Bohemian and Bavarian Forests, be it in the summer (hiking, cycling) or in winter (cross-country or downhill skiing). Simply put, this truly is a wonderful place in the Bohemian Forest. It is situated on a quiet stream in downtown Železná Ruda, off the main road with a very convenient location near the border with Germany (Velký Javor - organizer of the World Cup in downhill skiing). Welcome to the enchanting Bohemian Forest countryside with unique glacial lakes and the nearby peaks of Pancíř (1,234 m above sea level) and Špičák (1,202 m above sea level), which can be reached by cable car. Other natural gems can be found in the neighbouring Bavarian Forest - the Velký Javor, at 1,456 metres, is the highest mountain in the Bavarian-Bohemian mountain range, which is why it is also known as the "King of the Bavarian Forest". The many hiking and biking trails, groomed cross-country ski tracks and the immediate accessibility of quality ski areas make the town and its surroundings a paradise for all those who want to actively relax. The beautiful nature will delight you! Bohemian Forest is simply an airy spa.

The pension provides tourists, athletes and other visitors with quality facilities - accommodation including bicycle and ski storage, a restaurant with a terrace, a well-equipped fitness centre, a conference room for seminars and training sessions and a sauna. A newly built glass elevator provides fully wheelchair accessible. A great advantage is its own parking lot in front of the guesthouse with the possibility of charging electric cars or hybrids, a second parking lot about 200 m from the guesthouse and good train and bus connections to Klatovy, Pilsen and Prague and also excellent connections with Bavaria.
